The greater metropolitan area of Belfast is home to about half a million people, and little over 200,000 live in the city itself, but don’t let its relatively small size fool you. Every year more and more visitors are drawn to the fantastic energy with which this revitalised place glows. You can feel the confidence and liveliness everywhere you look. Of course Belfast has always known how great it is. It has only decided to brag about it a little more recently. And of course Belfast has always been popular with shoppers, particularly with the recent addition of several top class retail developments. Small wonder that big little Belfast is one of Europe’s most popular city destinations.
